How it works
The first two weeks, and every month after
Onboarding starts with finding out exactly where your books stand. You get a clear picture of what needs attention and what we recommend doing next — before anything is committed to.
How it works
Understand, Clean, Connect, Review, Maintain
The first two weeks are about finding out exactly where your books stand — before anything is promised.
- 01
Understand
We begin by understanding the business: its revenue model, expenses, banking, accounting systems, and current bookkeeping situation. Nothing gets touched before we know how the business actually operates.
- 02
Clean
We review the existing books, identify outstanding issues, and begin the cleanup and reconciliation process. If records are behind or inconsistent, this is where that gets resolved.
- 03
Connect
We connect the required accounts and software, and establish or improve the chart of accounts so that your reporting is built on a structure that fits the business rather than a generic template.
- 04
Review
You receive a clear picture of where your books stand, what needs attention, and what we recommend doing next. No jargon, and no surprises later.
- 05
Maintain
From there it becomes a rhythm. Transactions recorded, accounts reconciled, and financial information delivered on an agreed schedule — with proactive communication whenever we identify something unusual, missing or worth your attention.
What you can count on
One business day
We aim to respond to client questions within one business day, and to complete monthly bookkeeping according to an agreed schedule.
Documents without the chasing
Primarily connected bank feeds and secure document systems such as Dext or Hubdoc. We can also work with email, shared cloud storage and integrated systems. Our goal is to minimize manual document chasing.
A monthly business snapshot
For appropriate clients, a simple monthly snapshot highlighting revenue, expenses, profitability, cash position, receivables and notable changes.
Proactive, not silent
We do not believe a bookkeeper should disappear until tax season. If we see something that deserves your attention, we tell you.
Our goal is to keep your books current — not let problems accumulate until year-end.
Find out where your books actually stand
A free consultation, no obligation. Tell us how the business runs and where things currently sit, and we will tell you honestly what it would take to get the books right.
